As CEO and President of MicroPact Inc., Kris Collo sets the overall direction of the organization. His primary focus and responsibilities are in the areas of strategic planning, business development, contracts, finance and administration. A visionary with sound business principles, Mr. Collo has led MicroPact to its position as a leading developer of enterprise Case Management and Business Process Management (BPM) software solutions.

An entrepreneur at an early age, Mr. Collo launched MicroPact using two personal credit cards and $15,000 of his own money when he was just 21 years old. Despite having only three years of full-time work experience and having forgone college to start MicroPact, Mr. Collo bootstrapped the company into the growing company it is today and established himself as one of the top young executives in Washington.

Today, MicroPact employs more than 200 professionals at its U.S. headquarters and provides software and services to the lion’s share of federal agencies and a growing list of Fortune 500 companies. Sales have consistently grown each year as the company continues to expand its reach into both the federal, commercial and international sectors.

Mr. Collo is involved in all aspects of the business and in doing so, is able to identify and seize opportunities and to promote excellence at every level. Mr. Collo has led MicroPact through a period of constant growth, thereby repeatedly earning prestigious industry awards including:

Mr. Cerniglia has been with the company since its inception and, as the lead architect for systems and software, is responsible for the development of all products. He has spearheaded the company's transition from being a predominantly services-based organization to offering enterprise-class software and services.  Mr. Cerniglia has played a vital role in bringing MicroPact's industry-leading products to market, including entellitrak, entellidoc, and icomplaints.

Business Process Management (BPM), Case Management and Document Management products developed by the team led by Mr. Cerniglia are used by over 140 Federal agencies as well as Fortune 500 organizations.

John Young

John Young

Chief Financial Officer

John Young is the Chief Financial Officer at MicroPact. Mr. Young has joined the company to advance and manage financial strategies for MicroPact's continued expansion.

Mr. Young has a strong record of facilitating major growth for a number of technology companies, and has over 25 years of finance, accounting, and operations experience. Previously, Mr. Young was the Senior Vice President (SVP) and CFO for Metron Aviation, a provider of air traffic flow management software and research services to the aviation industry, where he developed financing strategies to support the company’s rapid growth. In this position, Mr. Young helped structure a management buyout and the creation of a new commercial products business unit, growing revenues from $17 to $43 million in two years. He also helped lead the successful acquisition of Metron Aviation by Airbus.

Mr. Young has also held leadership positions at Era Systems Corporation, the Baan Company, Blackbaud, Incorporated, and Legent Corporation.

Mr. Edwards has been instrumental in growing the company's potential by assessing marketing opportunities and target markets to seek out new customers and expand possibilities for the use of MicroPact products.

Mr. Edwards has been with the MicroPact team for over 11 years and has led the sales and marketing effort for launching three new product lines. These sales and marketing efforts have helped the company's growth, which has allowed MicroPact to be recognized in Inc. 500, Deloitte and Touche Fast 500, and Washington Technology Fast 50, as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. They have also resulted in business at more than 140 agencies and organizations.

Prior to MicroPact, Mr. Edwards provided leadership for Business Development, Sales and Marketing Teams for telecommunications and software companies. He received numerous awards for customer service, marketing development and management. Mr. Edwards has over 18 years experience in developing sales/marketing strategies and teams in both the commercial and federal marketplace.

Mr. Ragsdale is responsible for overseeing MicroPact's marketing and social media operations, and, most importantly, for ensuring that our ever-evolving product capabilities continue to grow in anticipation of our customer's operational needs.

With 20 years of experience leading the international marketing and branding efforts of software and technology companies at nearly every stage of development, Mr. Ragsdale's approach to marketing is generally so far outside the box it's usually off the continent. Mr. Ragsdale prides his teams on their ability to develop focused programs that deliver on organizational objectives while responding quickly to changing and unique environments.

James "J.R." Atkinson

As Vice President Professional Services, Mr. Atkinson is responsible for post-sales business and technical consulting to ensure proper implementation and maintenance of new and existing MicroPact projects. He is responsible for the management and overall direction of various departments including Project Management, Business Analysis and Application Engineering.

Mr. Atkinson has over 15 years of experience in building and growing profitable business units in leading-edge software and professional services companies. Mr. Atkinson has been a successful senior technical manager with a solid record of team building, project planning, budgeting and process improvement resulting in high customer satisfaction.

Andrew "A.J." Frickman

Mr. Frickman has spent 16 years in federal government-facing business development positions. Since joining MicroPact in 2006, he has been instrumental in driving the continued expansion of the company’s presence in the federal market.  As the leader of the federal sales team, Mr. Frickman is responsible for driving the sales process, including managing accounts at the highest levels of the federal government, generating proposals, closing large contracts and working with Product Management to facilitate implementation of complex solutions.

Prior to MicroPact, Mr. Frickman worked in business development and sales roles at leading information technology and computer software companies, where he was responsible for market development and sales.

Todd While

Mr. While has more than two decades of experience leading sales and business development efforts for major enterprise software companies. He most recently served as Vice President, Mobility Solutions for GroupLogic Inc., an enterprise mobility software company that was bought by Acronis GmbH in 2012. Under his leadership, sales more than doubled at the company. At MicroPact, Mr. While leads the commercial enterprise solutions sales team behind entellitrak as the company continues to strengthen its market position in multiple commercial sectors including transportation, energy, health care and education.

Before joining MicroPact, Mr. While held leadership roles and launched new business units for numerous software companies that experienced exponential growth, including Kratos Defense & Security, Clarabridge, iLumin (acquired by CA in 2005), Venetica (acquired by IBM in 2003), Legato Systems (acquired by EMC for $1.3 billion in 2003), and OTG Software (acquired by Legato Systems for $403M in 2001).

Mr. While is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.

Mr. Lowrey joined MicroPact 12 years ago and has worked his way through the organization moving from Systems Administrator to Project Manager, to Director, Customer Relations and Director, Business Development, Enterprise Solutions, and is now Vice President, Federal Enterprise Solutions Business Development. From his time as Project Manager, Mr. Lowrey is experienced in the design and implementation of configurable COTS and Java-based solutions and has been involved in formulating the basis for dozens of solutions through systematic and statistical analysis. He is able to apply this knowledge and experience to his interactions with customers using MicroPact products. Mr. Lowrey holds a BS in Mathematics from Pennsylvania State University.

Marty Herbert has more than 27 years of both military and business leadership. A distinguished Army retiree, his experience ranges from commanding soldiers during three separate conflicts to serving as the Aide de-Camp to the United States Army Chief of Staff. He was appointed as the Democratic Staff Director, Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, Committee on Veteran’s Affairs, U.S. House of Representatives, leading the Subcommittee in all legislative efforts, hearings, budgeting, and general oversight. Mr. Herbert was the primary adviser to both the Chairman and Ranking Member for oversight over the nation’s largest national healthcare system. Most recently, Mr. Herbert was CEO of CapSynch LLC, a consulting business that focused on working with companies to establish and implement best practices. He received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Louisville and his Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Webster University.

Charlie Rizzo joined MicroPact in 2012 and is responsible for guiding the expansion of the company’s global Partner Program. Mr. Rizzo recruits and supervises team leaders tasked with building and implementing a comprehensive network of partner organizations and partnerships, and helps drive new sales revenue for the corporation. Mr. Rizzo brings more than 25 years of experience exceeding sales quotas and goals while selling to the federal government, federal systems integrators, and commercial organizations. Prior to joining MicroPact, Mr. Rizzo served as Alliances Director for CA Technologies, where he developed federal systems integrator sales channels. While a Business Development Manager at EMC Corporation, Mr. Rizzo developed and executed sales initiatives for Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, CSC, EDS, and Accenture, among others.

Dion Santana Trahan is Director, Healthcare Solutions at MicroPact. Where healthcare, Information technology, and legislation, rules, and policy collide, Dion brings an experienced clarity to provide strategic guidance to MicroPact.  Dion earned much of his expertise in healthcare policy while serving on Capitol Hill. Transitioning to the commercial sector, he focused on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid while at Booz Allen Hamilton and continued his focus while serving as the Deputy Healthcare Client Executive at Enterprise Information Management. As a founding member of MicroPact’s Healthcare Solutions team, Dion focuses on healthcare information technology trends, innovation, legislation and policy implications coming out of the Hill, and strategic business development. Dion is a veteran, a graduate of The Citadel, holds both a Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law from Louisiana State University and earned a LLM degree in Law and Government from American University. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana.

Sandra has over 2 decades of legal service management gaining most of her experience with some of the top general counsels in the technology industry working with companies such as Deltek, AOL-Time Warner, and Harris Corporation.  Sandra’s subject matter expertise includes commercial and government contracts; intellectual property management and licensing; litigation management; strategic business development and merger/acquisition initiatives; GSA schedule management; export control compliance; corporate policy initiatives such as data security and record retention; and contract management process improvement. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Pre-Law from University of Maryland, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management, and a JD from Kaplan University’s Concord Law School.

 

Chatch Noiwan

Mr. Noiwan brings more than 20 years of experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) project management, including requirements management and planning, quality management and assurance, risk management, earned value management, enterprise development and applications, and business process reengineering. With a successful history of delivering complex projects for government agencies including the Department of Defense and the Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Noiwan guides the team responsible for managing and implementing products and strategy, and oversees product management policies, objectives, and initiatives.

Prior to MicroPact, Mr. Noiwan spent 15 years at Command Information and Cambridge Technology Partners, as well as three years in the U.S. Army. Mr. Noiwan is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is an active member of the Project Management Institute.

Sunil Mazimdar

Mr. Mazimdar ensures high-quality software releases while maintaining the organizational standards for product architecture and design. He brings to the role 5 years experience as a hands-on developer of entellitrak.

Mr. Mazimdar has 13 years total experience in software development and sales, serving in telecom, media, healthcare, real estate and government markets.  He has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Bombay University, and a Master's degree from West Virginia University's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Mr. James analyzes and improves development best practices for MicroPact in order to increase the quality of all software releases. He brings 10 years of software development experience to the role.

Mr. James has participated in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including planning, implementation, testing, documenting, deployment and maintenance. Before joining MicroPact, Mr. James was a senior consultant in the customer development group at Deltek.

Sandeep Khare

Sandeep Khare

Research Director, Innovative Technologies

Mr. Khare has more than 16 years of experience in technology development with more than 10 years of service at MicroPact. He has led development initiatives for icomplaints and other MicroPact products. Mr. Khare recently spearheaded the integration of the Natural Language Analytics module with entellitrak. As Research Director, Mr. Khare is responsible for driving the company’s market research efforts, working with industry analysts and providing recommendations to senior management regarding the strategic direction of entellitrak technology. He leads internal research, assists with product messaging, and writes technical white papers.

Mr. Khare holds a CBPMP from BPM Institute, and was one of the first 100 practitioners to earn this certification. A graduate of Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, Mr. Khare obtained his graduate degree in engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He has also earned an e-commerce certification and MS in Management of Information Technology from University of Virginia.

Mr. Hubbard brings 15 years of technology experience to MicroPact. His professional experience includes on-site technical support and computer maintenance, systems and web development, and project management. As Director, Product Operations, Mr. Hubbard leads a team of IT professionals who handle support and development for all installed entellitrak systems. Before taking on his current position at MicroPact, he was Manager, Application Engineering and Senior Support Analyst. In that role, he provided technical expertise, client support and training, and systems integration for entellitrak.

Mr. Hubbard earned his BS in Computer Science from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech). Before joining MicroPact, he worked for Lockheed Martin Corp. and Titan Corp.

Mr. Adams drives and supports numerous initiatives at MicroPact. As Director, Program Management, he is responsible for advancing Project Management and Program Management methodologies and for establishing governance over all projects to ensure timely delivery to our customers. Mr. Adams has held numerous leadership positions throughout his career including Program Manager for U.S. Air Force Programs and Program Manager for Department of Defense Programs. Before joining MicroPact, Mr. Adams worked for Enterprise Information Management Inc., BCPI Inc. and Platinum Marketing.

Mr. Adams received a B.S. in Marketing from George Mason University in 1999.
