EPA selects MicroPact's icomplaints to Manage EEO Complaint Processes
Web-based EEO case management solution helps agency meet Federal mandate
HERNDON, VA -- September 28, 2011 --MicroPact is implementing an enterprise system for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to electronically manage their EEO complaint tracking and Federally mandated 462 reporting process.
The EPA was looking for a system that would streamline their internal processes, help them develop partnerships with subcomponent agencies to facilitate
a seamless EEO program, and improve their transparency to the EEOC and the public. After the EPA reviewed prototypes of possible solutions earlier this year,
they selected MicroPact's icomplaints
icomplaints is an enterprise-level, Web-based EEO case management solution that provides a broad range of capabilities for reporting, processing, tracking, managing, searching, and reporting on complaint cases. icomplaints manages EEO complaint cases on the continuum from initial contact, to informal/pre-complaint, to formal complaint, to final agency decision.
icomplaints comes with an advanced reporting module which allows EEO practitioners to communicate with management about the complaint filing and review process. This module allows them to process the Federally required EEOC 462 Report and the No FEAR report. EPA also purchased the eScan Module of icomplaints to facilitate the import of legacy documents into the digital system, so that all previous cases can be archived and tracked, if still ongoing.
The system was acquired by the EPA Office of the Administrator (AO), Office of Civil Rights (OCR). This is MicroPact's second project at EPA. The agency also leverages MicroPact COTS product entellitrak as their workflow management solution for Title VI / Title IX processes.
